He Needs His Glasses is a growing collection of blurry landscapes. I’ve never really painted before, but I am drawn to the idea of people trying new things, even into their older age (yikes). I recently watched a very famous writer and sociologist, age 83, play the violin at a children’s recital in a church basement. He wasn't very good, but his playing made me cry.
